Courses fill up fast! Pre-enrollment is required. To reserve your spot in a course, please come by the Muskogee County EMS business office Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to pay the course fees or you can call our business office at (918) 683-0130 and pay for a course over the phone with a credit/debit card.

Please note that all fees paid for a course are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class we can transfer your fees paid to the next available class for you without penalty.

CLASS CALENDAR

Pediatric Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED:

The AHA’s Pediatric Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner to the pediatric patient. This course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g. OSHA) or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

Course length (approx.): 5 hours

Required American Heart Heartsaver CPR/AED/ Association Book:

Cost (includes book and card): $59.00

Schedule: Class is offered once a month, on Mondays starting at 2:00 p.m.

Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS):

This certification course teaches the fundamentals of CPR to the adult, child and infant victim. It also teaches the use of an automatic external defibrillator. This course is designed for the professional rescuer who is required to have CPR for his/her profession.

Course length (approx) 6 Hours

Required American Heart BLS for Healthcare Provider

Schedule: Class is offered once a month, on Mondays starting at 9:00 a.m.

Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED:

Healthcare Provider CPR Refresher Course (BLS):

This certification course teaches the fundamentals of CPR to the adult, child and infant victim. It also teaches the use of an automatic external defibrillator. This course is designed for the professional rescuer who has a BLS provider card and is needing a refresher to renew their BLS certification. A current unexpired BLS provider card is required for to take this course.

Course length (approx): 3 hours

Required American Heart BLS for Healthcare Provider

Schedule: Class is offered once a month, on Mondays starting at 9:00 a.m.

BLS Instructor Recertification Course:

This course is designed for the professional who already holds a BLS instructor card and is needing a refresher to renew their card. You must be affiliated with Muskogee County EMS on the instructor network to be eligible to take this course.

Course length (approx): 3 hours

Cost (includes card): $75.00

Schedule: Offered once a month on Mondays at 2 pm. Please call or email for further information.
