EMERGENCY
Public Relations
Muskogee County EMS recognizes that strong community relationships are just as vital as the emergency care we provide. Our public relations program is built on transparency, trust, and community involvement. Through school visits, civic presentations, safety demonstrations, and participation in community events, we work to educate the public about emergency preparedness, health awareness, and the vital role of EMS in the community. These interactions not only promote safety but also strengthen the connection between our providers and the citizens we serve.
The program is coordinated by our Public Information Officer, Trish German, who serves as the point of contact for community engagement. To schedule a Touch-A-Truck event, request a car seat installation, or arrange a public speaking engagement, please contact her at trishg@mcems.us. In addition, Muskogee County EMS actively engages with the public through social media, press releases, and partnerships with local organizations. These platforms allow us to highlight the work of our team, provide real-time updates during emergencies, and share lifesaving information with a broader audience. By prioritizing clear communication and outreach, our public relations program ensures that the community sees us not only as first responders in times of crisis but also as trusted partners in health and safety every day.
