Muskogee County EMS can provide, upon request, stand by ambulance service posted on site of an event to respond to medical emergencies within the boundaries of the event. Our medics are nationally and State licensed, and operate with in MCEMS protocols.

An ON DUTY STAND BY ambulance may be available at no charge for events. This ambulance is typically an on duty staff, available for other ambulance calls, and is not guaranteed to be available for the entirety of the event. Even once at the event the crew is subject to being called away for other EMS business.

A DEDICATED RESERVED ambulance is an ambulance and crew who are assigned to the event for a charge. This is generally an additional crew staffed at overtime costs for MCEMS. Billable time starts when the unit goes in service to the event and ends when the unit is back in its home area. If the ambulance leaves the event to transport a patient, MCEMS will attempt to send a second ambulance to continue coverage, although this depends on availability.

The hourly rate for a dedicated reserved unit is:

$60.00 per hour for events inside Muskogee County.
$160.00 per hour for events outside Muskogee County.

MCEMS bills a minimum of 3 hours for reserved trucks.

Time accrued beyond the 3 hours will be billed in increments of 10 minutes.
MCEMS’ reserved service is fee-based, and we are unable to offer discounts or service donations.
Any outstanding balance must be settled before we can schedule additional requests.
Requests are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and should be submitted at least 30 days before an event.
MCEMS reserves the right to prioritize requests for reserved units bases on crew availability.
For large or multi day events, requests should be submitted at least 60 days before the event.
Proof of liability insurance coverage may be required for some events.

MCEMS can only provide this service within its normal coverage area.
